The Moto Z Play comes fitted with a 5.5-inch FHD Super AMOLED display and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2GHz and paired with 3GB of RAM. On the storage front the Z Play offers 32GB of internal memory. The fingerprint sensor finds a place on the front façade just like in the other Motorola devices.

Imaging setup on the Moto Z Play consists of a 16-Megapixel primary sensor with laser and phase detect autofocus and the secondary camera is a 5-Megapixel sensor. The Moto Z Play is equipped with the TurboPower fast charging feature which offers 9 hours of battery life with a charge of 15-minutes. Moto Z Play runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and is water repellant just like the other smartphones in Moto lineup. The Moto Z Play is priced starting from $400. Remember the Moto Mods that Motorola had introduced along with Moto Z? well, now they have updated the Moto Mod offering with Hasselblad. What this mod does is that it enhances the camera capability, to be precise, the Hasselblad offers 10X Optical zoom and an ability to capture Raw photos.
