The app is called “Memoji” and it has been developed by the same team (Lightricks) who’s responsible for the famous photo-editing tool, Facetune. Memoji’s purpose is quite straightforward, it morphs any picture you upload into animated emojis. Currently, the app comes with 11 emoji options, including heart eyes, sunglasses, horned devil, snorting, blowing kisses, unicorn, and more. Memoji also isn’t particularly limited to selfies, you can point it to any face and its intelligent image-processing technology will do the job for you....

The new Moto G5 abolishes the plastic shell build Motorola has been offering for four years, and instead, brings an aluminum unibody. It comes with a 5-inch Full HD panel up front and uses a water-repellent coating (P2i) for protection against occasional spills and splashes. For the hardware, Moto has decided to go for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 Octa-Core processor which is quite baffling given the Moto G4 is powered by a more capable Qualcomm 617 SoC....

The Moto G5 has been given a nod by the US regulator and apart from that the listing also gives away some aspects of the Moto G5. The device is expected to come equipped with a 3,000mAh battery and if the rumors about the G5 Plus are to be believed the latter will pack in a slightly powerful 3,100mAh battery pack. Moto G5 is also expected to come baked with a fast charger that is capable of outputs up to 14....

Moto M, in terms of design, features an all-metal build with a curved back and a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD panel up front. Underneath, the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor clocked at 2.2Ghz, 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM, Mali T860MP2 GPU, 32/64GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB via a MicroSD card, and there’s a 3050mAh non-removable battery which also supports fast charging....

FUP and Net Neutrality Well, as regards Net Neutrality, TRAI has made it clear that any attempt to prioritize a particular form of data over another form of data will be seen as a violation of Net Neutrality. TRAI did make an exception for intranets but the intranet clause remains cloudy with the only way to get clarity being litigation. While TRAI has said that content hosted on intranets will be exempted from Net Neutrality rules, it has also clarified that any attempt to use intranets to willfully skirt Net Neutrality rules would be seen as a violation....

The Nokia 8 Sirocco follows the characteristic design language of the all new Nokia lineup, but it distinguishes itself from the rest by its display. The top end offering from the Finnish brand comes with a 5.5 inch pOLED 18:9 dual edged display that offers splendid viewing experience. Gone are the large bezels found in the last generation Nokia 8. The all-new smartphone has minimal black borders all round and results in a rather compact form factor....

But it seems that such a big name like Nokia isn’t ready to abandon the hardware market just yet. Today the company has posted an image with a mysterious black box on its Twitter account, saying – ‘guess what? We’re up to something’. The display shapes out in the form of 5.5-inch-1080p display and it is good to see that the company didn’t run after the 2K display which as of now is still an overkill when you consider the impact on the battery life. The company claims that OnePlus 2 comes with a highly adaptable display which is also the brightest display in the market....

Got the looks The Oppo Enco Free does a good job in terms of design. The buds come in a very compact charging box that is about the same height and width as that for the AirPods (2nd generation) but is significantly thicker. The buds are connected magnetically to the case and the box also shuts magnetically – a good touch. We got the black variant (it is also available in white and pink), which is made of sturdy plastic and has a matte rather than glossy finish and does not pick up scratches and smudges easily....
