The Xiaomi Mi8 Lite offers a notch-equipped 6.26-inch 1080p screen with an aspect ratio of 19:9. It’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 octa-core chipset and comes in either 4GB or 6GB RAM flavors. There’s 64GB or 128GB of onboard storage which can be expanded with a MicroSD card. The phone comes preloaded with Android 8.1 and Xiaomi’s own custom skin, MIUI. The Mi8 Lite features two camera sensors on the rear — a primary 12-megapixel lens with an aperture of f/1....
The MIUI 8 Beta ROM v6.7.5 will be available for Redmi Note (3G and 4G), Redmi 2, Redmi Note Prime and the recently launched Mi Max to start with. Furthermore, Xiaomi has also assured that it will be soon launching the global beta ROM for Mi 2s, Mi 3, Mi 4, Redmi 1s, Mi 5, Mi 4i, Redmi Note 2 and Redmi Note 3. It is good to see that Xiaomi is on track and released the ROM as per the schedule....
In terms of design, the new Redmi 5 phones flaunt rounded corners and abandon off-screen capacitive buttons to accommodate the new near bezel-less screens. Otherwise, they largely resemble previous Xiaomi phones and feature an aluminum build. Speaking of screens, the smaller Redmi 5 comes with a 5.7-inch HD+ panel, while the Redmi 5 Plus comes with a larger Full HD+ display. Both of them are LCD and carry an aspect ratio of 18:9....
Xiaomi launched the Mi 4i smartphone in India last month. Being marketed as an affordable flagship smartphone, the Mi 4i does pack in a range of impressive hardware modules and cost only Rs.12,999 ($205). It’s a good smartphone for the price. My colleague Nimish Dubey also seemed content with the phone in his initial impressions piece. But as good as the Mi 4i is, many retail versions of the phone are seemingly shipping riddled with a couple of glitches....

To begin with, the Z2 Pro features a 5.2-inch Full HD AMOLED panel, Snapdragon 820 chipset along with a whopping 6GB of RAM (I guess that’s a thing now) and 128GB of internal storage. Brave is the first word that comes to mind when you see Narzo 30A for the first time. In the past, you may have seen us complain about routine designs and mundane smartphone looks but realme is one of the few brands that we seldom have this complaint with (although it did stumble a little with the generic X7 Pro). The brand tries and we really appreciate that. It may come in the form of limited edition Onion and Garlic edition smartphones but nonetheless, it tries....
And we think the same is the case with the second OnePlus device to come with the McLaren tag – the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren edition. This is basically a OnePlus 7T Pro with a McLaren touch, and once again the touch is a very subtle one when it comes to the phone (the packaging pretty much screams McLaren with its bright orange color and branding). If you want to know more about the proportions and specs of the phone, go right ahead and read our first cut of the OnePlus 7T Pro because this is essentially largely similar hardware – the same display (curving over the sides and a 90 Hz refresh rate), processor, battery, cameras, software and so on....
More compact… And well, it looks very smart and stylish in a classy way. Now, do not get us wrong – we did think the OnePlus 7T was a very different and distinct-looking phone, and the OnePlus 7 was not too bad either (if a little too glossy), but the OnePlus 8 has a much more refined feel to it. And this is when we got perhaps the most low-profile color variant of all to review – the Onyx Black (the Glacial Green has been making headlines and the Interstellar White is not too far behind)....
May be plastic, but looks fantastic The Galaxy M series clearly comes with a theme. The glossy polycarbonate backs, the drop notch displays, vertical camera units on the top left and the oval fingerprint scanner, all have been the trademarks of the design language of the series. And the M30 speaks the same language. Most of the time anyway. it, if not exactly the same. The smartphone comes with a glossy polycarbonate back but unlike the other two M series smartphones that have relatively plain backs, this one comes with a gradient finish, with a shade of silver-greyish blue at the top blending into a darker blue shade on the lower part, giving the elder brother a slight design edge over its younger siblings....
