The Samsung Galaxy J2 Core comes with a 5-inch screen which has a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The phone doesn’t have a fingerprint reader and features a standard plastic design found on other Samsung entry-level products too. There’s an Exynos 7570 quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage which can be expandable, and a 2,600mAh battery. As for the cameras, the J2 Core has an 8-megapixel f/2....

When it comes to budget phones, there are a lot of competitors. And at large, they are providing tonnes of features on their smartphones in addition to some of the most basic ones to lure more users into buying their devices. However, when it comes to Samsung, people are starting to get annoyed, due to the absence of some of the most basic sensors on its devices. Till now, Samsung has managed to cut down on the cost by getting rid of these basic sensors, and for the most part, have succeeded in doing so....

CDMA in India CDMA as a technology had managed to find a use case in India by acting as substitute for wired landline connections. Wireless Local Loop (or WLL) was widely used by BSNL and Tata to provide landlines that could be used anywhere. Remember Tata Indicom’s Walky? BSNL being a landline operator had lower interconnect charges and WLL operators tried to leverage the same but had failed. After their inability to have the same interconnect charges as that of BSNL, WLL operators tried to convince TRAI that since CDMA required lesser spectrum than GSM, they should be allowed to provide full fledged CDMA services on the spectrum they got for WLL....

Apple’s new iPad launch also made the Apple Pencil an integral part of the iPad ecosystem. Yes, it is still not bundled with any iPad – you have to purchase it separately – but for the first time since the Apple Pencil was introduced, we now have five different iPad models supporting it, across five different display sizes ranging from 7.9 inches to 12.9 inches. All of which is a far cry from the time when the Apple Pencil was first introduced – as a very pricey add on to the elite iPad Pro range....

How does it look? Does it not look exactly like the S8+? This is an accusation that we think has been leveled a trifle unfairly at the S9+. A more logical question would have been: does the S9+ look good? Yes, the broad design language is similar to what we had seen in the S8+ with the tall 6.2-inch display dominating the front, tapering over the sides, and button placement (including the Bixby and volume buttons on the left side) being largely similar....

And well, in terms of sheer functionality, it certainly has the beating of the Apple Pencil that comes with the iPad Pro – it is designed in a pen-like manner and comes with a clip that can be attached to the Type cover, or even to your shirt pocket, and has a nice solid feel to it. There is also no embarrassing recharging mechanism – it comes with an AAAA battery that does not need to be recharged and which Microsoft claims lasts well over a year....

We wish there was a way to monetize all the times we have been asked that question today. Ever since Microsoft officially released the Surface Pro 4 and Pro 3 in India today at prices close to that of the iPad Pro, the air is thick with comparisons between the tablet-ic best of Cupertino and Redmond.
