The TCL Movetime smartwatch precedes the Moveband fitness tracker which was launched at Rs 1,999 a few weeks earlier. The main highlight of the TCL Movetime smartwatch is its integrated heart rate sensor. This feature was apparently missing in the TCL Moveband fitness tracker. That aside, the TCL Movetime comes with all other functionalities one would expect from a smartwatch. The TCL Movetime looks just like a standard watch with a round face and a black TPU leather strap....

Mobvoi, a Chinese specialist AI company had launched a couple of WearOS smartwatches, the Ticwatch S and E through a successful kickstarter campaign back in 2017. The smartwatches were pretty much well-received thanks to a considerably low price tag compared to the likes of the Huawei Watch 2 or other smartwatches from Google’s premium brand partners like Fossil or Michael Kors. But the gripe that literally everyone using a WearOS device has is its battery life, and the same was with the Ticwatch series as well....

This has happened to me and can happen to you as well; I returned from a wonderful trip and, in a hurry, downloaded the photos into a folder that I later deleted by accident. It was time. While I didn’t have the option to turn most of the gizmos on my table wireless like the PlayStation or the monitor, there were two devices I had been mulling to upgrade. The latest mobile OS from the Redmond camp is also backed-up by its bigger brother, Windows 8 for desktops and by the looks of the situation and how things are starting to, we may actually see a turn-around. The Xiaomi Redmi 5A comes equipped with a 5-inch HD display alongside the Reading Mode that blocks the blue light. Under the hood, the Redmi 5A is powered by a Quad Core Snapdragon 425 processor paired with 2GB/3G of RAM. On the storage front, the Redmi 5A offers 16GB/32GB of internal memory along with a microSD card that can accommodate up to 128GB of storage. Xiaomi has baked in a 3,000mAh battery on the Redmi 5A and the company claims a standby of up to 8 days and 7 hours of video playback....

We are talking of course about Nokia, which officially made its comeback to India shores and stores under the HMD Global banner on June 13. The venue for the launch was Qla, a restaurant that’s a stone’s throw away from the iconic Qutab Minar, one of India’s most famous historical monuments. And nostalgia was in the air right from the time when the invite for the event arrived with the iconic Nokia guitar ringtone built into it (one of those cards that play a tune when you open it)....

Who’s got the looks? By some coincidence, we have the red variants of both devices. And very different shades of red they are. Both are gorgeous in their own ways, but while the OnePlus 7 has a simpler, more direct look with hardly any shade variations, the Redmi K20 Pro’s red is far more flashy, and yet classy. On one hand, you have a more traditional, trendy-looking smartphone that follows the popular norms of a smartphone design and on the other hand, there is a smartphone that is loud and extremely proud about it....

Nokia 5.3: The specs are kinda sorta modest The first smartphone from Nokia in India since the pandemic broke out, the Nokia 5.3 seems to be rather modestly specced for the price it commands. No, we are not writing off its spec sheet altogether, but a 6.53-inch HD+ (not full HD+) display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chip (which is more than a year old now), 4 GB and 6 GB RAM options with 64 GB onboard storage, a 4000 mAh battery with a 10W charger and a quad-camera arrangement with a modest megapixel count (13 + 5 ultrawide + 2 depth + 2 macro) as well as an 8-megapixel selfie snapper – well, these are well below that the competition is delivering at this (and in some cases, at an even lower) price....

The new smartphone represents how Samsung is planning to challenge the competition — an impressive hardware at a relatively affordable price with its premium brand value acting as a catalyst, all while being sold exclusively online. I am very sure that many a times when you try to open, delete or move a file or a folder, you get an error message saying it is already in use.
