Even though it has been a few months since Apple announced iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 at its WWDC 2020 earlier this year, YouTube has been struggling to get the PiP mode working on the iPad. Or at least, that’s what appears to be the case as of now. Similarly, when it comes to iPhones, YouTube has, so far, not managed to get the feature to work. Moreover, at this point, it is not clear if they even plan to make the PiP mode available on iPhones....

As the names suggest, the Slate 6 VivoTab and Slate 7 VivoTab come with 6-inch and 7-inch displays respectively. Both of them will run the Android 4.2 JellyBean OS and will come with quad-core processor. It’s still not clear which SoC is powering the phablets, but what’s known is that both of them will come with 16GB of storage, extendable upto 32GB via microSD card. HP exited the smartphone space back in 2011 after selling the webOS division, and had negligible presence in the tablet space....

The latest HTC smartphone is now listed on the company’s Taiwanese website and there’s no information regarding the global availability of the device yet. The budget smartphone comes in a unique design wherein the back of the device is made out of two virtually different segments. While the upper part of the back is made out of smooth rubberized material, the bottom half is composed of dotted engraved pattern which HTC is allegedly referring to as a ‘sculptured design’....

The Maimang 6, despite the affordable price tag, doesn’t skimp on hardware at all. For starters, it’s the first Huawei phone to feature an edge-to-edge 5.9-inch (2160 x 1080 pixel resolution) display up front. There are a total of four cameras as the Maimang 6 sports dual-camera setups on both the sides. On the rear, you will find a standard 16-megapixel sensor with an additional 2-megapixel lens for evaluating the depth in your pictures, hence producing relatively realistic bokeh effects....

Make no mistake, IUM is not a Flash drive as it doesn’t contain any memory storage unit inside. It instead contains a small computer and 802.11n WiFi module within. Design & Hardware The Lenovo A7000 is literally and figuratively a big brother of the A6000 in every sense. It is an elongated version of A6000 and has the same build quality and design. Design that’s tried and tested Why fix something that’s not broken, right? That’s the philosophy Xiaomi has been following with respect to the design of their Mi Bands. A small removable capsule at the core of a silicon strap. The Mi Smart Band 4, however, is slightly thicker than its predecessors due to a larger display and battery, but it’s not evident when strapped on. The band is comfortable to wear even while sleeping....

Cyanogen and Micromax Yu have been in news for all the wrong reasons in recent times, surrounding their exclusive deal to provide CyanogenMod based ROM updates in India. OnePlus, which was the first ever company to officially carry CyanogenMod on their One smartphone was forced to suspend sales after Micromax filed an injunction case at Delhi High Court earlier this week. But unlike OnePlus One, Yureka is more of an affordable mid-range device competing with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note and Asus Zenfone 5....

The new preview boasts a number of changes including providing you with the ability to save files into the company’s own storage cloud service OneDrive by default. The new preview works on desktops/laptops running Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows 8 as well as on Windows-powered tablets. You are, however, required to uninstall Office 2013 from your device to install the new preview. In addition, Outlook — the email client in the Office suite — is also getting some new features....

The new Surface Headphones are made out of soft, plastic materials and feature rotatable dials on both the sides. One of those can be rotated to adjust the level of noise cancellation and the other tweaks the volume. The ear cups are also touch-sensitive that lets you control the playback by tapping them. Microsoft has also bundled a host of smart assistant features such as hands-free voice commands which allows you to talk to Cortana by saying “Hey Cortana” and the headphones can automatically pause the music when you remove them from your ears....

That being said, laptops are still left in the lurch and they are often easy targets for thieves. The laptops can be wiped off easily and resold without much of a risk. Yes, Microsoft has earlier introduced the “Find my Device” feature on Windows 10 but that’s not much of a help if the user doesn’t connect to the internet, which unlike smartphones, is a much more likely scenario. Microsoft has now come up with a new solution that will protect your laptop even it doesn’t come with an LTE option or an active cellular connection....

The Surface Pro 2 still carries the 10.6-inch ClearType HD display, but with additional 46% color accuracy. Microsoft claims that Surface Pro 2 is faster than 95% of laptops today, but that’s clearly due to Intel’s Haswell processors inside the VaporMG casing of Surface Pro 2. As we know, Haswell greatly enhances the battery life with its low power requirement while increasing the graphics performance by 50%. The new Docking Station accommodates the Surface Pro 2 with the power cover attached, and is loaded with three USB 2....

The new firmware update will enable FDD-LTE (1800MHz) on the following models: Lumia 1520, Lumia 1320, Lumia 930, Lumia 925, Lumia 920, Lumia 830 and the Lumia 625. As a matter of fact, the devices already had 4G radio built in and apparently, due to the unavailability of the LTE networks during the launch prompted them to disable this connectivity option. If you own any of the Lumia devices mentioned above, you can either install the update from the push notification, else can also force update the phone....

Moto G9 Power: Design and Display In terms of design, the Moto G9 Power features a plastic back (with a textured surface) on the rear. It is said to have a water-repellent design to prevent damage due to water spills and splashes. The back has a fingerprint scanner, with a Moto logo on top, and there is a square-shaped camera module to house the triple-rear cameras along with an LED flash....

Motorola Edge Plus: Design and Display In terms of design, the Edge Plus comes with a sandwiched glass design, much like some of the other flagships out there, which has a metal frame all around the body, sandwiched between glass on the front and the back. It offers two color options: Smoky Sangria and Thunder Grey. Towards the front, the phone features a 6.7-inch OLED panel, which slightly curves at the edges and blends with the side edge....
