The invite sent to press today said “Meet the Marshmallow from HTC,” so this makes it pretty much obvious that we’re going to witness the launch of a new smartphone which will come with Android 6....

Huawei develops its own K3V2 quad-core processor The real shocker from Huawei was not the announcement of Ascend D quad, but rather the company’s very own K3V2 quad-core processor, which is clocked as high as 1.5GHz and has 16 core GPS that offers 2X performance. Though there were some hints about company developing its own processors, the timing has taken the tech world by storm. Huawei claims it has the lowest chip temperature on the market, and the smallest footprint....

Design In terms of design, the FreeBuds 3 comes with a round charging case, which appears to be compact and can easily fit in your pocket, without adding much bulk. Talking about the buds itself, the earbuds feature an ergonomic, curved, and an open-fit design that claims to offer a comfortable and snug fit in the ear for prolonged listening. Huawei calls this, Dolphin Bionic Design, and says it allows the earbuds to sit deeper in the ear canal and offer a better listening experience....

All the variations of the Honor 7 have an aluminum alloy exterior, and 5.2-inch FHD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) display clad in metal alloy chassis. They all are powered by company’s homegrown 64-bit capable Kirin 935 processor with half of the cores clocked at 2.2GHz, and rest Cortex-A53 cores at 1.5GHz. They all possess 3GB of RAM too, with 16 to 64GB internal storage with support for external storage by microSD card....

Asus CEO Shen Zhenlai (Jerry Shen) has announced that he would step down his post, and focus on the AI field. LG announced today their new flagship device: the G2. The device brings to the table a new design and some awesome hardware to back it up. Appearance – A tale of plastic and a piece of steel! Both the Mi 4 and Mi 4i are very smart looking devices, but in different ways. While the Mi 4 rests on a metal frame, the Mi 4i is an all-plastic affair. While the Mi 4 has a glossy back, the Mi 4i has one with a slightly matte finish. So coming back to that world with its IN series of devices – the IN Note 1 and the IN 1B – should be the most natural and comfortable thing to do, shouldn’t it? This ain’t the same mid-segment, folks And that is because the mid-segment that Micromax so effectively created at its peak has now changed very significantly. Rdio has confirmed in the blog post that it will be shutting the shops in coming weeks, till which the services will be uninterrupted. This is not the first time the Digital Music economy had to face the wrath of sketchy economics along with the issue of loyalties to the music labels. The chances are that someone other than Pandora might just come and buy the Rdio. The company said in a statement “While we are filing for bankruptcy, because the planned sale to Pandora is contingent on such a filing, by law Rdio is required to entertain competitive offers during the bankruptcy process that is being managed for us by Moelis & Company....
